We are able to do this because we've been able to buy at better prices in Japan, and naturally those better prices are going to be passed onto you. It's important to us that our used electric vehicles are as affordable as possible to help speed our transition to a more sustainable world. Revised pricing will have an * beside it. We are offering the Nissan Leaf in four different size of used car batteries -
24kwh, 30kwh, 40kwh and 62kwh.
This gives you a choice of both pricing and range, depending on your needs.

The reasons why we settled on the Leaf are quite simple:

Reliability

They have been around for more than 10 years, and have proven themselves to be exceptionally reliable and well built. This is of vital importance if you’re going to sell a used electric car in the EV market and have confidence in your product.

Affordability

They have been a popular Electric Vehicle (EV) in Japan-where they are made, meaning there is a supply of used vehicles from 2014 up to 2020, at price points which can make EV ownership model a reality for many people instead of a dream.

Range of cars

The size of the vehicle, as well as the various sizes of secondhand electric car batteries from different car brands, make it ideal for a wide range of Australians living in both urban and rural areas, without the need for fuel.

They are fun to drive!

And something else that we all like about the Leaf, apart from it’s reliability, exceptionally low cost ownership (no oil changes and minimal servicing!) and durability, is the fact it is such a good car (and fun) to drive.

About us

Matt Grogan is one of the founding members of Totally Renewable Yackandandah, and has long been an EV enthusiast. It’s only natural he became involved in importing and selling Electric Vehicles, including providing used electric cars for sale in Australia.
Cam Klose has had a love for the outdoors and looking after the environment for years, so being part of the used car market and selling low/zero emission EVs made sense.
Russell Klose has been involved in the auto industry for years, importing cars and car parts from Japan since the 90s. He has a keen interest in looking after the planet for the long term, and EVs are an integral part of this.
All three of us agreed that if we could provide top quality, used, cheapest second-hand electric cars for EV buyers, then this would be a step towards looking after the future of the planet whilst still giving people reliable, comfortable (and fun) transport.
