White/Blue roof colour combo. A favourite with so many!! This 2018 40kwh Leaf is an “S” model, meaning it is nice and simple, without to many tricky features. Naturally it has cruise control, push button start, heated front and rear seats as well as a heated steering wheel (heated steering wheels in Winter as SO good!!), one pedal driving via e-pedal, eco mode and many other little niceties. Condition is very good, drives so well (It’s a Nissan Leaf, so of course it drives well!!), relatively low km’s and a battery that’s still in excellent condition. Trim and interior present extremely well. The current radio in it is a Japanese delivery edition. I can leave that in and fit a range expander so that it will receive Australian FM stations. (You can use translation apps etc). Of course, you could also update it with a local Stereo System.
VIN:ZE1-024334 Of course we supply a 10amp portable EV charger with the vehicle.
If in any of our photos the Head Unit or Dash display show up in Japanese, or the Head unit Buttons are in Japanese, these will be converted before sale (Unless the buyer prefers not to have it done)* Note: As stated earlier, the head unit will be left as is, unless the customer prefers to have an aftermarket unit installed.

Warranty on Nissan Leaf purchased from Kilowatt Cars Pty Ltd
Standard (Statutory) warranty on vehicles that are less than 10 years old or travelled less than 160,000km’s is Three Months/5,000Km’s, whichever occurs first. During this time we must repair any faults covered by the warranty in order to ensure the car is safe and in a reasonable condition for its age.
Note: even after the statutory warranty expires, you still have rights under the Australian Consumer Law that you can rely on if there is a problem with your car. The level of protection will depend on things such as the car’s age, condition and the way it has been treated.
However, due to the confidence in our product, Kilowatt Cars will provide Warranty for 6Months/7,000Km’s, whichever occurs first. Please note inclusions and exclusions as per consumer affairs: webpagehttps://www.consumer.vic.gov.au/cars/buying-a-used-car/warranties. Any repairs undertaken will be commensurate with the age of the vehicle. Second hand parts, if available and in good condition, will be considered acceptable to use.
Battery Warranty: In addition to the Lithium-Ion battery warranty coverage as regards defects in materials or manufacture, we will also offer a degradation warranty on the battery pack as listed below.
We will take a reading of the battery State of Health at time of purchase. (This is expressed as a percentage:100% being new, 95% meaning the battery has degraded 5% and so on), and then allow a certain amount of degradation of the battery over a fixed period of time. Warranty applies to the State of Health reading on the day of sale (Not from a new 100% battery). Warranty will vary on the type of battery fitted to the vehicle (24, 30, 40 or 62kwh) as set out in the table below.
Vehicle | Battery Capacity | Year | Warranty | Maximum Battery Degradation allowed over warranty period. |
---|---|---|---|---|
Nissan Leaf AEZO | 24kwh | 2013-2017 | 6months or 7000km whichever occurs first | 5% |
Nissan Leaf AEZO | 30kwh | 2016-2017 | 18months or 20,000km whichever occurs first | 5% |
Nissan Leaf ZE1 | 40kwh | 2017-2018 2019 on (including 2019) | 18 months or 15,000km Whichever occurs first 2 years or 20,000km Whichever occurs first | 11.5% 15% |
So as an example, if you had a 2019 ZE1 40kwh Leaf, and the battery had degraded by more than 15% over a 2 year period (From the Battery State of Health recorded on the day of sale), then Kilowatt Cars would replace (with a second hand unit) or refurbish the existing battery to bring it back within the limits specified by warranty.
If the battery had degraded by say 10% (From the Battery State of Health recorded on the day of sale), then no remedial action would be required to comply with our warranty obligations.
What is explicitly not covered by warranty:
Damage, failures and/or corrosion caused by or resulting from:
We suggest having your Leaf checked over by an authorised workshop yearly to maintain reliability and safety. The cabin filter should also be replaced at this time.
